At night all the lights are green



Or at least it seems like this on my Leipzig at Night photos. This is the staircase of the new university building. When I found this pic in the envelope (film is often better) I was quite surprised, because I didn't remember any green lighting. Well, the effect is cool though.

And a warm welcome to my new worldwide friends.

Peter Lewis Completes Memorial Commission

Peter Lewis, who studied Ceramics at WSI Nepean last year,  has won a commission to produce a bronze memorial. "This work will be sent to a metal foundry to be cast in bronze for a K9 memorial being installed at Tahmoor, NSW to honour police dogs which have died in the line of duty. I used the free form coil building technique to create the work using the skills that I was taught at TAFE by Sue Jorgensen and Rob Linigen. This meant the the sculpture is hollow (therefore lightweight) and I did not need a metal armature to support the work.
